About the work
Year 1910. Painter and expressionist Marianne Werefkin returns to her childhood home, the Vyžuonėliai Manor in Utena. However, she is not alone here...
Someone is watching her. Walking through her memories, fragments, life events, and different periods.
The viewer pieces together a portrait of a personality difficult to define or generalize, deeply dramatic and profound. Like a detective, within the rooms of the narrative, one’s own version of the story takes shape.
A story in which one must overcome time, destiny, and social status to remain authentic.
In VR cinema, sometimes it's not the subject or genre that intrigues you. Often, the use of technology may surprise you. Like when you're watching a VR movie and suddenly you see yourself as a shadow, standing there wearing the headset, inside the experience
