HOW WE PROCESS DATA
What, why and for how long.
01
Who processes the data
VšĮ „KOSMOS THEATRE“ (company code 302706480, V. Grybo 4B, Raseiniai, Lithuania) is the controller of your personal data. For all privacy matters, write to info@kosmostheatre.com.
02
Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Webflow: for security and operational purposes, its servers may automatically log technical data – IP address, browser type and time of request. Fonts are hosted on the website itself, so no data is sent to Google Fonts. Analytics and advertising tools are activated only with your consent (see section 3).
03
Cookies and consent
On your first visit, we show a cookie banner with three equal choices: “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Settings”. Until you choose, only the strictly necessary cookie is used, and no analytics or advertising tools are loaded. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. When you withdraw consent, analytics or advertising cookies are deleted. Analytics (Google Analytics). With your consent, we measure which pages are visited, where visitors come from and which ticket links are clicked: we record only the ticketing platform and the event. When you sign up, we record only the fact of signing up, without your email address. Advertising (Google Ads, Meta). With your consent, we measure how many visits and actions our ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram bring, and we may show ads to people who have visited the website before. We do not use any additional identification, such as matching with your email address. The legal basis is your consent. To be able to prove your choice, we record in our consent log (Cloudflare) a random identifier, the time, the banner version, your choice, the language and the page. We do not record your IP address, email address or browser data. The log is kept for 2 years. The sign-up form sets no cookies: your email address is sent through our server on Cloudflare directly to our database in monday.com. External services we link to (ticketing or donation platforms) use their own cookies. Cookies we use: kt_consent – KOSMOS THEATRE; remembers your cookie choice; strictly necessary; 6 months _ga – Google; distinguishes visitors; analytics; 13 months _ga_PSWTDG1PCP – Google; keeps the session state; analytics; 13 months _gcl_aw – Google; remembers an ad click (only when arriving from a Google ad); advertising; 90 days _fbp – Meta; distinguishes the browser for ad measurement; advertising; 90 days _fbc – Meta; remembers an ad click (only when arriving from a Facebook or Instagram ad); advertising; 90 days
04
Correspondence and sign-up
When you email us, we process your name, email address and the content of your message – solely in order to reply and to arrange collaboration. The same applies to enquiries about KOSMOS LAB and to project proposals. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding, or steps taken prior to entering into a contract. When you sign up on the Portal or KOSMOS LAB page, you provide only your email address. We store it in monday.com together with what you signed up for (performances and previews, or KOSMOS LAB) and the date of your consent. If this email address is already in our records, we update the existing record instead of creating a new one. We use the data only to send the news you chose. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to info@kosmostheatre.com.
05
Donations and tickets
Donations and tickets are administered by Paysera, and recurring support by Patreon. They are independent data controllers and apply their own privacy policies. Without separate consent, we receive from them only the payment information required for accounting; accounting records are kept for the period required by law. The 1.2% personal income tax allocation is administered by the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI). On the ticket purchase pages, Paysera also uses our Google Analytics and Meta identifiers to measure purchases; Paysera’s privacy and cookie rules apply there. When buying a ticket through Paysera, you can tick a box to agree to receive our news by email. Only then do we add your email address to the same monday.com database as when you sign up on the website. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
06
Event photos and videos
On the website we publish photos and videos of performances, laboratories and other events in which participants or audience members may be visible. We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in documenting and presenting our creative work. If you would like a photo of you to be removed, write to us.
07
Who we share data with
We do not sell data. It is processed only by service providers without which the website, sign-up and correspondence would not work (Webflow, Cloudflare, monday.com, Microsoft 365) and, with your consent, by Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta. Data may also be received by public authorities where required by law. Some providers operate outside the EU – in such cases, the safeguards provided for by the GDPR apply.
08
How long we keep data
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed for collaboration, and no longer than necessary. Sign-up data is kept until you withdraw your consent. Accounting records are kept for the period required by law. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, and the consent log for 2 years. Cookie lifetimes are listed in section 3. Data that is no longer needed is deleted.
09
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of its processing, object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to info@kosmostheatre.com – we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
This policy applies to the KOSMOS THEATRE website. Last updated 13 October 2026. If the website or our activities change, we will publish an updated version on this page.
